Houzz has compiled a list of the 10 most popular new kitchens of 2017 based on user shares/saves so we’ve put together a few of our own (inspired by theirs, of course) to share with you!
End of island storage
We’ve done a couple islands with bookshelves in the end like the one below, but for those who want a place for beverages – an end of island bar refrigerator is a great feature! You can keep your drinks cold without sacrificing refrigerator space!
The natural selections design
I love the warm wood tones and open-air aspect with big windows giving us the feeling of bringing the nature inside. The natural wood butcher block countertop on the island contrasts the dark soapstone countertops beautifully while the big windows make the kitchen an inviting place.
The classic white kitchen
This should look a bit familiar as we did a very similar look with one of our 2017 kitchen designs. Featuring Shaker-style cabinets and all white appliances, an all-white kitchen has an unexpected visual appeal that really pops. White cabinets are still so popular among kitchen renovators and it is easy to see why.
Drawer charging station
This is probably my favorite out of all of design ideas in the Houzz list of Most Popular New Kitchens. It gives portable electronics a spot to charge without cluttering counter space. Another good point in having this is that you don’t have to worry about anything being spilled on the electronics or having them get knocked over! Just winning all around!
