International Woodworking Fair Recap

We spent last week (Wednesday-Friday) participating in the International Woodworking Fair 2016 (IWF) at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.  It was touted as “one of the top woodworking trade shows in the world for the furniture manufacturing, architectural woodwork, custom and general woodworking industries” and I would have to say it most definitely was!

International Woodworking Fair – Networking

One of the top highlights of our trip was visiting the booths of some of our suppliers/vendors.  The WalzCraft team from LaCrosse, WI  provided us with great information about their products and the industry. They were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable.  Now we are even more excited for our trip to Wisconsin for cabinet refacing training in October.

Next we visited the New CNC team from Holland, MI. They manufacture and sell the CNC Router that Dave operates for Solid Concepts. They answered Dave’s questions and chatted with us about their recent innovations. What a great group of guys! To be honest, we could have watched all the CNC machines for days and not get bored.

We also spent time networking with other suppliers of cabinet and closet components, hardware, and finishes. The “BLING” was everywhere! We’re excited to start incorporating these new and exciting products into client projects.
